ABOUT THE GALLERY

Yutaka Kikutake Gallery opened in Roppongi, Tokyo in 2015. Since then, the gallery has continued to produce exhibition programs with an array of international and domestic artists while also supporting their respective practices and actively seeking out opportunities to platform their work in international contexts. With a strong foundation in the recent history of contemporary art, Yutaka Kikutake Gallery scrutinizes the rich appeal of newly created expressions and places particular emphasis on the ways in which the gallery can contribute to society through art. In addition to exhibitions, the gallery continues to develop its scope of activities by holding workshops for attendees of all ages, as well as by publishing artist books, the lifestyle and culture magazine 疾駆 / chic, and the art criticism journal Kyoku. In 2024, Yutaka Kikutake Gallery opened a second space in Kyobashi as part of its ongoing effort to highlight group exhibitions that reflect an enduring, unwavering set of values.
